The Congress of Nations and States:
Academic Conference 2023
The Congress of Nations and States and are hosting the Congress of Nations and States: 2023 Academic Conference to discuss topics central to everyday experiences of our members.
The 2023 CNS Academic Conference will be hosted online on 28 September 2023 in collaboration with University of Northampton, UK. The topics are determined by what our 2022 Assembly identified as key priority areas and are as following:

Mitigating the disproportionate impact of climate change and natural resources extractivism on Indigenous and Minority groups

Empowering indigenous and minority claims to land they inhabit, especially, within state-centric international structures
-
Increasing political participation and governance power of Peoples and indigenous groups, nationally and internationally
-
Ensuring indigenous and minority group access to basic human rights which are threatened by privatisation and, at times, the UN sustainable development agenda
